Developer's Description
ADDRESSING GLITCHES: I just realized that I had uploaded an outdated, pre-tester version of the game (which is why I've kept thinking to myself "I fixed that glitch..."). Sorry for this; I will upload a CLEAN version devoid of gamebrakers ASAP, although you might want to wait until December when I upload the SPECIAL EDITION, which will contain four new dungeons, a couple extensions, completely new cutscenes and subplots, and significant tweaks to the battle system.

After a month of development and another month of waiting, Carlsev Saga - Deckiller's first game - is ready for release! This is the complete game - it's not a demo!

Volume one of an epic trilogy, Carlsev Saga is a political and historical fiction. The story is similar to games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Battle, Xenosaga, and Xenogears; elements from other media such as 24 are also present. Make sure you stick with the game: what may seem cliche at first may end up surprising you!

The gameplay is somewhat traditional, with a few twists: item/resource management takes priority over gaining experience, as the best way to increase stats is in the form of alchemy tonics. Each character has proficiencies; later in the game, certain characters learn skills from enemies and "draw" elemental power from monster parties. There are a few puzzles and twists thrown in, as well.

Graphically, most chipsets are Mack and Blue. There may be a few issues with image quality; if possible, this may be fixed in the future. Overall, it should be visually appealing.

The soundtrack is taken from a variety of sources, including Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle, Arc the Lad, and Beyond the Beyond.

Most likely, the game will take you between 4-6 hours. Enjoy and feel free to review/provide feedback! I hope to update the quality of the game regularly, as it -is- my first game after all.

Please review the game if you have the time!
